Frances Lucas is a seasoned, savvy, successful former college president whose energy, determination, and intellectual vibrancy are matched only by her acute sense of humor and her deep wisdom.

After 28 years as a president or vice president of higher education institutions, Dr. Lucas launched Frances Lucas Consulting, LLC, in 2015. Dr. Lucas is an executive coach, consultant, and professional speaker. Her specialty is working with new presidents, interim presidents, and their entire senior team. Throughout her career, she has been a popular speaker and has keynoted over 85 national and regional conferences.

Dr. Lucas is a woman of firsts. She was named president of Millsaps College in January 2000, becoming the first female college president in Mississippi. Prior to that post, Dr. Lucas served Emory University as Senior Vice-President for Campus Life, becoming the first woman to hold a vice-presidential role in that university’s 160-year history. At age 29, she was the youngest Vice-President for Student Affairs in the country and the first female Vice-President at Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio. Dr. Lucas has also served as a faculty member in Human Capital Development, Education, and Communications.

Dr. Jaye Stanley has trained and coached actors and speakers for more than 25 years. She has taught theatre and drama at several institutions and directed more than 50 plays across the U.S. She is a published author and served as Editor in Chief of Arts Indiana magazine.

Jaye assists clients composing and editing cover letters and curriculum vitae. She also coaches clients during the interview process, providing guidance on both the performance aspects and content of interview responses and presentations.

Krista Storm’s vast experience in a variety of fields (administration, fundraising, party planning, entrepreneur) are reflected in her variety of roles as Executive Assistant at Frances Lucas Consulting. Krista manages client communications, event coordination, research, office management, and billing—all while being a friendly team player who just happens to be a whiz in the kitchen.
